Man United lost to Copenhagen in their fourth Champions League group stage game and here are how the players rated at the Parken.
Manchester United's chances of progressing in the Champions League suffered a massive blow after their 4-3 loss to FC Copenhagen.
Erik ten Hag's side had the perfect start when Rasmus Hojlund gave United the lead within four minutes after a lovely pass from Scott McTominay and he doubled their lead with an easy finish from Alejandro Garnacho's ball across the box. But things started to go wrong in the 42nd minute when Marcus Rashford was sent off for catching an opponent. His straight red card was followed by a goal from Mohamed Elyounoussi and then Harry Maguire gave away a penalty after handling in the box.
Diogo Goncalves scored to beat Andre Onana and the game was 2-2 at half-time. United won a penalty of their own in the 68th minute for handball and Bruno Fernandes converted it but their joy was short-lived when Copenhagen got an equaliser in the 83rd minute and 17-year-old Bardghji then got the winner. Opened up the space for United's attack to accelerate which led to the first goal. Had to be more restrained at 11 vs 10 but dozing for the equaliser. 5His quality cross for Rasmus Hojlund was turned in after only three minutes. His endurance was vital with United having to play most of the game with 10 men. 6A steady influence but he was predictably sacrificed at half-time in favour of the defensive-minded Sofyan Amrabat.
Inelegant on the ball but his presence provided some steel and United benefited with a defensive midfielder on. 6His contentious calls were vindicated and United played their most impressive 40 minutes of the season until the red card. Decisively hooked Eriksen for Amrabat and United were more settled in the second half. 6
