Philly started playing the game on Monday and kept going until Wednesday - when his sons bought toys with his haul
A man won 27,890 tickets playing arcade machines at Butlin's where he was staying for a week with his wife and two sons. Philly Jones started playing the candy drop ball machine inside the Skyline tent during the afternoon of Monday, October 9 and kept playing until Wednesday lunchtime.
Not only did Mr Jones win tickets for his two sons, he also won a number of tickets for a young boy celebrating his third birthday and for a few other children who came to watch him play, reports LincolnshireLive. His wife Rachel said: "I was shocked at the sheer scale of tickets, but not that he was winning, because he is really good at arcade games.
"A number of staff inside the arcade saw him as they had to keep coming over to refill the tickets for him." Philly shared the tickets with his two sons and also won some for other children who were watching him Mrs Jones said her children spent the tickets on a range of prizes including plushies, board games, Transformer figures, squishies and light up toys.
