Mount has not played for United since picking up a hamstring injury in the 2-0 defeat against Tottenham last month and he was absent from the squad to face Burnley at the weekend, despite returning to full training earlier in the week.
The 35-year-old returned to United in the summer, eight years after he was sold by the club, and played a key role in their win over Burnley at the weekend.
