Alejandro Garnacho on the verge of agreeing new Man United deal MUFC
With a new deal in the pipeline, negotiations are understood have been underway for several months with Garnacho’s current contract expiring in 2024.New terms appear close to being finalised with the Argentinian star expected to put pen-to-paper on a new five-year contract.Garnacho will receive a considerable pay-rise that will take him from an academy salary to a first-team player’s wage.
He is currently thought to be earning around £7,000 per week, with this fee likely to drastically increase.
Both parties involved in contract discussions are supposedly eager to complete the new deal as soon as possible. The aim is have it over the line in quick succession, to avoid any distractions, with United still competing in four competitions.Garnacho has made 25 appearances, bagging three goals and five assists in all competitions for United’s senior team this campaign.
