Callum Rowe initially secured the booking for £200 per night
A Eurovision fan was left 'shocked and disappointed' when his £200 per night Airbnb booking in Liverpool was cancelled and re-advertised for £41,000.
He was delighted to secure the booking for an overall fee of £200 per night, the Liverpool Echo reports. But later received a notification to say the booking had been cancelled and then saw it re-advertised for £41,145 per night. The university student said he was 'disappointed' after initially finding 'a bit of a steal'.
"When I went back to the listing I saw that it had risen from £200 per night for the house to £41,145 per night. It was pretty shocking and disappointing to see. "Eurovision is about togetherness and celebrating each other and coming together, so it was sad to see. I never got a response.
