BREAKING: Man stabbed after brawl breaks out outside busy pub
Police said the fight broke out between two groups of men outside the Elephant & Castle pub on Deansgate at around 2.25am this morning . Emergency services were scrambled to the scene.
Police are now hunting for the suspect and also want to find the other male who was at the scene. A cordon was put in place around the Elephant & Castle pub after the incident, with officers remaining at the scene this afternoon. Police are now urging anyone with witnessed the incident - or who was on Deansgate or Churchgate in the early hours of this morning - to come forward. They particularly want to speak to anyone who has footage or CCTV of the fight.
"Greater Manchester Police will not tolerate any knife crime or criminal activity, and this is certainly no exception in Bolton. We will endeavour to bring the offender to justice.
