A royal fanatic has made it his mission to ensure theTerry Sillifant, 74, has spent more than 240 hours crafting the Union Jack-themed gift for King Charles.
‘It took slightly longer than 240 to make the rug itself, and then another three hours or so to put the back on it. Terry, a retired highways engineers, decided to start crafting the rug following the death of Her Majesty in September.He’s since had confirmation the package has been received and has crossed his fingers that the rug may truly be fit for a King.
