A 21-year-old appears to have been targeted in a broad daylight shooting Saturday, according to Columbia Borough police. Police were dispatched around 12:48 p.m. to 410 Locust St. for shots fired. They found one man with a gunshot wound in his left leg. He was taken to Lancaster General Hospital, where he was treated and released. An initial investigation determined that the shooting was not a random act. There is no concern for the public, police said.
No additional details about the shooting were provided. Columbia Borough Police is investigating. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to them at 717-684-7735.
