One person has been shot in an apparent road rage incident, authorities tell WRTV. The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of I-65 and County Line Road.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on County Line Road. Indiana State police say law enforcement officers found a man with gunshot wounds inside a white work van. Investigators say the man and a woman who was also in the van were traveling east on County Line Road when an unknown suspect fired at them. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Indiana State Police are taking over the investigation. At this point, investigators have not provided a description of the suspect.
