.Police were called just before 3pm on 25 September 2022, responding to concerns for a woman on Orchard Street, Swansea. They discovered a 43-year-old woman with serious injuries as a result of multiple stab wounds to her upper body. She was taken to University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff for treatment and to remove the knife blade embedded in her.Detective Constable Andrew Hirst, of Neath CID, who was the Officer in Charge of the investigation said:"This was no doubt an extremely frightening incident for the victim who remained in hospital for some time receiving treatment for the serious injuries caused in the violence demonstrated by Christopher Chandler.
