Susquehanna Township police said Ricardo R. DeSouza will spend the next 9 1/2 to 19 years in prison for the assaults, which took place August 17–18, 2020. Both assaults took place in the township, police said. The first was reported August 18 out of a hotel room. Police found broken hangers, bloody towels and blankets, ripped clothing, and other signs of a struggle.
