A spokesperson for First Glasgow said: “Our thoughts are with everyone involved at this time.”
Shortly after 3pm, emergency services were called to Union Street in the city centre following an incident involving a pedestrian and a bus.
Ambulance crews attended to the man and he was later taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.spokesperson said:"Around 3.10pm on Friday, January 20 2023, police were made aware of a road crash involving a bus and a male pedestrian."Enquiries are ongoing." A spokesperson for First Glasgow later confirmed the incident and shared their thoughts with 'everyone involved'.
They said:' “We can confirm an incident took place on the afternoon of Friday, January 20 on Union Street when a No.61 bus collided with a pedestrian in the road."Our investigation into the incident is underway and we will continue to work closely with the police in relation to this incident.
