Man rushed to hospital after being hit by bus in city centre 🚨
A man has been hit by a bus in the city centre.
999 crews raced to Killermont Street outside of Buchanan Bus Station around 3pm on Tuesday afternoon after a pedestrian was struck.Police locked down the street at the junction with Renfield Street where a First Bus was pictured with its hazard lights on in the middle of the road.A spokesperson for First Glasgow said: “We can confirm an incident took place on Killermont Street in Glasgow city centre this afternoon at approximately 3pm between one of our vehicles and a pedestrian in the road.
“Emergency services were called to the scene immediately and we are continuing to work closely with them.A spokesperson for Police said:"Around 3pm on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 police received a report of a man being struck by a bus in Killermont Street near to Renfield Street, Glasgow."Enquiries are ongoing."It is understood emergency crews remain at the scene.
