Police have released a man on bail after being alerted to a 'man with a firearm' in a Belfast street.
Officers were called to Beechmount Street, in the west of the city, on Thursday afternoon, June 29, following a report of a 'man with a firearm'. A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm in suspicious circumstances and has since been released on bail.A PSNI spokeswoman said: "A 20-year-old man arrested in the Beechmount Street area of west Belfast on Thursday afternoon, 29th June has been released on bail to allow for further enquiries."
