ByA man was killed in an exchange of gunfire early Saturday in the Mountain Creek area of southwestern Dallas, police say.
Officers found two men with gunshot wounds after responding about 2:20 a.m. to the 4800 block of the Spur 408 service road, near Grady Niblo Road. Dallas Fire-Rescue took both men to a hospital, where one died and the other is stable, police said. Police did not release either man’s identity. Detectives determined that one of the men pulled out a handgun and the other man shot him in self-defense during an exchange of gunfire. The man who survived was the one who fired in self-defense, police said.
Police said the the case will be referred to a Dallas County grand jury to determine whether charges should be filed.. Aria writes about breaking news.
