A 20-year-old man was attacked with a weapon by the three men wearing balaclavas after leaving a pub in Edinburgh
A man was seriously injured in Edinburgh city centre after being attacked by three balaclava-clad men.
The 20-year-old was attacked with a weapon by the three men after leaving a pub at around 12.05am on Friday 21 April.The victim was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Enquiries have established that a dark-coloured 4x4, possibly a Range Rover, a smaller light-coloured car, and another light-coloured vehicle were spotted driving from nearby Quality Street onto Main Street at around 12.01am.
A cyclist was also seen travelling from Cramond Road to Quality Street and back again at around the same time.
