San Antonio firefighters are investigating the cause of a house fire after a man died Saturday morning on the Northeast Side.
Firefighters called to a house in the 2600 block of Woodbury Drive shortly after 6:30 a.m. found it ablaze. “Crews were forced to fight the fire from the outside due to the amount of fire and deteriorating conditions,” said Joe Arrington, San Antonio Fire Department public information officer. He said firefighters found the man’s body after they were able to get the fire under control and enter the house.
