A man died after a possible shooting and hit-and-run late Thursday in South Dallas, police say.

Officers responded about 8 p.m. to the 2800 block of Marburg Street, near Elsie Faye Heggins Street, where a pedestrian appeared to have been in a “possible hit and run,” police said. Police also found shell casings. The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name has not been released., Staff Writer
