A 71-year-old man was pronounced dead Saturday night after his body was pulled from the pool at his York County home, authorities said.
The man was found unresponsive around 7:45 p.m. in the pool at his home on the 3100 block of Grandview Road in Penn Township, according to York County Coroner Pamela Gay. Gay said emergency responders tried to resuscitate the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:20 p.m. The man’s cause and manner of death remain under investigation.
