BREAKING: Man City footballer Benjamin Mendy charged with further count of rape
Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy has been accused of another count of rape.
The restrictions were lifted today as Mendy appeared at Chester Crown Court for a hearing ahead of his trial next year.Mendy is now accused of eight offences against five different women, including seven counts of rape relating to four women. Mendy is appearing alongside his co-defendant Louis Saha Matturie, 40, of Eccles, Greater Manchester, who is also accused of serious sex offences against young women.
