A man has been charged in connection with a deadly hit-and-run in 2018 in Muncie that killed Joe Minor Jr. on his 27th birthday.
Mitchel Masterson was charged Thursday with one count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, according to online court records.
He eventually told others he hit Joe Minor Jr. and was laughing during some conversations, according to the affidavit. Through the investigation, detectives were able to determine Masterson was driving and struck Minor, according to the probable cause affidavit.Friends and family of Joe Minor Jr. say they will remember his as a “good, smart kid.” @rtv6 pic.twitter.com/AIrxcX3MkX
