Police say a man is due in court after being charged over the attack on Tuesday
A man has been charged with injuring another man in a serious assault in Leicester.
Police said the victim needed hospital treatment after being attacked in Haynes Road on Tuesday morning. A 49-year-old man was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and threatening a person with a bladed article in a private place.
