Louie Turnbull, of no fixed address, was charged with two dangerous dog offences earlier today following the incident in Tower Hamlets. Metropolitan Police officers were called to the Limehouse area of east London on Sunday evening following an attack on a woman.was shared online and showed residents of surrounding flats standing on their balconies and shouting for officers to stop.Turnbull, 46, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court earlier today charged with being the owner of a dog that was dangerously out of control and being in possession of a dog while disqualified from owning or keeping a dog.
A statement from the Met said: ‘The charges follow a call to police just after 5pm on Sunday, May 7, to reports of a woman being attacked by a dog in Commercial Road, E14.‘She had also suffered an injury to her leg during the incident. She did not require hospital treatment.
