A man shot Saturday evening in Harrisburg is facing criminal charges, police said.
Stafford A. Wedderburne, 30, of Harrisburg, suffered non-life-threatening wounds in a shooting around 6:30 p.m. on the 1700 block of Revere Street, according to police Lt. Kyle Gautsch. Police charged Wedderburne with a misdemeanor count of simple assault and a felony count of prohibited possession of a firearm.show Wedderburne has not been arrested as of Monday. A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
Wedderburne’s shooting was one of two in the city this weekend. Gautsch said shots were fired around 9 p.m. Saturday on the 200 block of Verbeke Street, outside Al’s Cafe. A car was hit, Gautsch said, but no one was injured.
