Police said they tried to stop a vehicle which was 'driving erratically'
Police in Co Tyrone have arrested a man in his 20s following an incident in which a police car was rammed in the early hours of Monday morning.
After locating the vehicle, police added it rammed into a patrol car in the Ravella Road area, with two officers treated for minor injuries as a result.The 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and remains in custody on Monday morning. A police spokesperson made an appeal for information on the incident.
Sergeant Gracey said: “At approximately 3.50am, police attempted to stop a black Nissan X Trail car which was driving erratically in the Tullyvar Road area of the town. The vehicle was spotted a short time later in the Ravella Road area when it rammed into a police patrol car.
