The incident reportedly happened in the early hours of Sunday morning
, January 15 at a business in Margaret Square.
The robber is believed to have told a staff member he was armed with a knife before demanding cash and making off.A man was arrested a short time later and is being questioned by police. Detective Sergeant Johnston said: "It was reported just before 2.25am that a man forced entry to a staff-only area in entertainment premises in the Margaret Square area, before telling a female member of staff that he had a knife and demanding the contents of the till."The suspect was described as being approximately 5' 7" tall and of medium build with short ginger hair and a moustache. He was also described as wearing jeans and a dark jacket.
"A short time later, a man, aged in his thirties, was arrested nearby on suspicion of robbery. He remains in custody assisting with enquiries.
