A grid contractor that helped rebuild Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria defends the work by one of its subsidiaries following a government inquiry
Mammoth Energy Services Inc. said it is standing by the work that one of its subsidiaries did in Puerto Rico after hurricane damage, following a Wall Street Journal article earlier this week that said U.S. government authorities were looking into the company’s dominance in bringing power back to the island.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Inspector General at the Department of Homeland Security are looking into the dominance by Cobra Acquisitions LLC, a subsidiary of the electric-utility contractor.
