Those failures leave them needing midfield reinforcements before the 1 September deadline – with Stuttgart and Japan midfielder Wataru Endo already joining earlier this month.He has started the season at the heart of the Palace midfield – but is believed to be keen on a potential move to Anfield.The Mali international made 35 appearances across all competitions last season, notching three assists.
Doucoure made a big impact in those outings and beat the likes of Marc Guehi and Michael Olise to winwage of £60,000-a-week on a contract which runs until June 2027.
