A comprehensive programme of repairs is set to be agreed to save a Grade II listed building in Oswestry.
The Grade II Listed Oswestry Station Building originally opened in 1860
Following many years of neglect, the county authority took possession of the building earlier this year, after it had suffered storm damage in 2022. This means the scaffolding will stay in place while a comprehensive project is undertaken to stabilise and address the poor condition of the building. This will involve discussions with the town council. Cambrian Heritage Railways, Future Oswestry Group and others.
