Both carriageways remain closed as police attend the scene
Both carriageways on the M8 are closed this morning due to a collision on the busy stretch of motorway in Renfrewshire.
Police are at the scene near Bishopton and drivers are being told to allow extra time for their travels. The incident happened at around 5.55am this morning, on the M8 between junction 30 and 31, western end.
