A GP who cared for one of Letby’s alleged victims claims she heard her sobbing to a colleague
She denies the seven murders as well as 10 attempted murders of other babies at the hospital’s neo-natal unit between June 2015 and June 2016. She went on to say she could not remember exactly when the conversation happened and that it ‘seemed a pretty normal reaction’ given the upsetting trend of baby deaths at the hospital.
She continued: ‘In my memory I felt like she was shipped out to a tertiary centre, made a rapid recovery and then was brought back very quickly.
