That was the sentiment at Torero Stadium Sunday afternoon as the San Diego Loyal earned a 2-0 win over Colorado Springs in front of an announced crowd of 5,057.
Corona’s goal in the 40th minute gave San Diego a 1-0 lead and came after the home team dominated possession throughout the first half. The Loyal finished the half with a 10-2 edge in shots on goal, created six corner kicks and consistently won free balls in the Colorado Springs end of the pitch.
