One Vogue writer is obsessed with Penn Badgley's TikTok dancing and here is why
I have always hated when straight, cis men ironically dance to female pop singers, almost as much as when straight, cis men intentionally pick songs by Rihanna or Madonna or any other pop chanteuse at karaoke. However, I can’t help being obsessed with Badgley’s performance, specifically because it’s so bizarre. He’s not trying to telegraph how cooler than thou he is—he just seems like a bored dad genuinely having fun on TikTok.
All of Badgley’s videos are created equal in terms of zaniness, but I particularly appreciate the one where he’s running through his apartment and mugging on his balcony to Swift’s “Anti-Hero.
