Love Island bosses have shared a statement following rumours that Paige Thorne had left the villa following Jacques O’Neill’s emotional exit.
ITV2 has confirmed that the rumours are not true, however, and the star will not be joining recently departed Islanders Coco Lodge and Samuel Le Grove on their journey home. It comes after the Welsh paramedic said “everything happens for a reason” as she discussed previous partner Jacques O'Neill ’s exit from the villa and Adam's arrival on Friday 15 July's show.
She said: “When Jacques was in here, we weren’t exactly the most perfect couple going on – there were some bumps in the road. That’s still not taking away the feelings and connection I had with him for sure. The Islander asked Paige if she thought there was a chance of romance with Adam, to which she responded: “Potential for me personally I would say yes. I don't know what he’s saying…which really infuriates me.”Will Paige and Adam develop into something more in their coupling?The infamous event typically sees the villa presented with a series of clips from moments — usually taken from Casa Amor — some Islanders would prefer not be showcased.
