'As a dog owner myself, I was completely appalled when we received a complaint of such horrific animal cruelty in our community,' said St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office chief Randy Smith.
Multiple arrests have been made in Louisiana after a small dog named"Buddy" was found abandoned in a mobile home park with no legs.
The daughter, who was deemed to have been responsible for the small dog's condition, was arrested on Monday and booked into the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of aggravated cruelty to animals. Her mother was detained the same day for failing to get the dog proper medical care. She was released on a summons, officials said.
