The maison explores charismatic motifs inspired by the warmth of the season for the newest collection
After Pharrell Williams debuted his Spring/Summer 2024 Menswear collection in June, fans everywhere were reminded of the allure and significance the Louis Vuitton label has helmed throughout its time in the industry. Now Nicolas Ghesquière, Creative Director of Louis Vuitton womenswear, illuminates the same charm in his Spring/Summer 2024 collection at Paris Fashion Week last week Monday.
The collection is an ode to a wondrous summer, with a blend of engaging silhouettes completing most of the looks. In a contrasting vision, the looks take a turn from the Fall/Winter 2023 collection which focused on classic French style and business-ready designs, instead highlighting light and intricate pieces with touches of history in the form of 19th-century references and 80’s power suiting.
Shoes are in pumps with twisted leather detailing and peep-toes that are decorated in stripes, black, grey, or white. Keeping the season in mind, the collection’s color palette is enticed with bright corals, canary and pastel yellows, cerulean and sky blues, bubblegum pink, classic black and white, and brown in the form of a signature LV monogrammed belt.
