Steven Stewart pulled open the van's door before raining punches on the head and body of his 37-year-old victim
A Lothian Buses driver punched a fellow motorist’s tooth out after ‘losing the plot’ in a violent road rage rammy on a busy Edinburgh street. Steven Stewart was behind the wheel of a double decker when he spotted a DPD delivery van belonging to his victim bumped up on a curb on Leith Walk.
“This guy completely lost the plot in a road rage attack and has basically walked away with no real punishment. I was literally just doing my job dropping off a big box of books to a store. “There were verbals exchanged between the two of us. Next thing, he jumped out his cabin and opened up my van door. He’s grabbing me by the jumper, shouting at me.
After waiting for a colleague to collect his van, the victim made his own way to an emergency dentist where he had to fork out £150 to have his tooth put back in. He still has to wear a brace on it and is set to undergo further treatment.
