That’s the story one of the tabloids is pushing.claims Loughlin and Giannulli have become “estranged” following the controversy. An alleged source says the actress is “livid” with her husband for supposedly forcing her to plead not guilty instead of taking a plea deal like fellow actress Felicity Huffman.
“Lori is furious at Mossimo because she believes they would have gotten the same kind of leniency that Felicity received if they owned up to the charges,” adds the suspicious tipster. “She believes that Mossimo created this problem and dragged her into it… Now she has to save herself.” The seemingly phony source concludes that Loughlin is “ready to sacrifice her hubby for a deal.”
Loughlin and Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to a college admissions advisor to ensure their daughters would be accepted into the University Of Southern California. Each face 20 years behind bars if convicted. Huffman, who was accused of a much smaller bribe and pleaded guilty in May, was recently sentenced to 14 days in jail for her part in the scandal.
There are a couple of glaring problems with the tabloid’s phony story. For starters, the spouses aren’t the least bit “estranged.” In fact, holding hands as they walked into a courthouse in late August for their most recent court appearance. Additionally,
