PUBLISHED 8:32 PM CDT Jun. 02, 2022SAN ANTONIO — Humberto Renovato says Uvalde is a town that welcomes migrants with open arms and gives them the opportunity to thrive in the U.S.
In times of tragedy and turmoil, Renovato knows the community will do what they can for one another. He received a helping hand from pastors who live 90 minutes away in San Antonio. So Sandra White was directing traffic to this prayer area with handmade signs. “We are here supporting those victims and the victims' families, and we are here to just support and love and tell them that God loves them,” White said. “This is the least I can do. This is the least I can do for this community,” White said.
