An independent review into the working culture of London Fire Brigade has found it to be “institutionally misogynist and racist”. JaneDJourno reports.
Nazir Afzal, the former chief crown prosecutor tasked with looking into the working culture of London Fire Brigade, is calling for the same scrutiny to be applied to all UK public bodies to root out racism and misogyny that he fears could be endemic
In the meantime, yet another one of the institutions charged with keeping us safe must now rebuild its tattered reputation.
