The UK's largest celebration of African music and culture is preparing to take over Sefton Park this weekend. The festival is heading strong into its 31st year boasting a line-up of live acts, DJs and workshops for everyone to enjoy.
With summer in full swing and things heating up, Africa Oye's weather forecast looks to be no different, but perhaps a little cooler than we have seen in recent days.A mostly cloudy day will remain dry but there is a chance of rain and thunderstorms as we move into the evening. Expect a humid and somewhat uncomfortable night as temperatures will remain high with a maximum of 25 °C.
The Met Office's report said: "Another warm day with some sunny spells, though a more unsettled day than of late, turning increasingly showery with a risk of some heavy downpours and thunderstorms.
