While the city's restaurants were again overlooked by the guide back in February as it announced the list of new stars, one restaurant has now been added to the guide in a new update. The French-based group which oversees the awarding of the prestigious accolade gave out 19 awards to establishments across the UK earlier this year- but none in Liverpool.
The restaurant's name, plus the menu, is inspired by the Baltic Triangle’s historic shipping trade. Owner and chef, Paul Duran, has created a “modern British menu with wine firmly in mind.” “Seasonal modern British dishes are carefully cooked and come with complementary flavours and textures. Equal care has been lavished on the wine list, with each wine available by the glass as well as the bottle.”
