The Houston Independent School District announced all after school activities will be canceled Tuesday, due to the weather. The announcement wasStudents and staff in the Klein Independent School District were sheltering in place as of 11:47 a.m.,. Those on campus have been moved inside the main campus buildings, due to tornado warnings effecting areas in the district.
"For now, we're just staying the same course," Hope said."We are monitoring for flood levels ... starting to see what that looks like for bus routes. But right now ... kids are in classes as normal. Everything is the same as if it was a sunny and 75 kind-of-day." Willis Independent School District has canceled all after-school practices and extracurricular activities, according to a social media post made by the district. Sub-varsity soccer games have been canceled, but varsity soccer games will continue. There have been no changes to the basketball schedule.
