Light Night Leeds 2022 live updates as thousands flock to see incredible illuminations
There are more than 50 spectacular light installations, projections and interactive artwork areas for families to gaze at in amazement. This year’s event will have the theme of ‘Playful City’.The festivities see some of the most recognisable landmarks and locations in Leeds host displays. Friday evening’s programme is expected to run between 6.30pm and 10pm.
Some of this year’s highlights include a projection on The Queens Hotel of a huge digital rollercoaster ride. Over at Leeds Civic Hall, a homage to the classic video games of the 1980s sees visitors take control of a high tech augmented reality experience.experience.
