Miles Sanders took a handoff all the way to midfield, after inside linebacker Foye Oluokun took an ineffective line to a run up the middle. Then Roy Robertson-Harris got flagged for facemasking the Eagles' Trey Sermon, moving the ball inside the 25.
But the Jaguars' defense put the brakes on Philadelphia's march. Dawuane Smoot sacked Jalen Hurts on third down, setting up a 43-yard field goal attempt by Jake Elliott. Elliott made the field goal, but the Jaguars' Tyson Campbell roughed the kicker, and Philadelphia elected to take the three points off the board and extend the drive on offense.3:05 p.m.
It's a better march for the Jaguars - until the ending. Trevor Lawrence connected for a long-awaited first down to Evan Engram, then threw to JaMycal Hasty on a screen pass to advance across midfield. A holding penalty on the Eagles helped the Jaguars out, too. But Lawrence uncorked his third turnover of the game, a telegraphed out pattern to Christian Kirk that was gleefully gobbled up by James Bradberry of the Eagles. That's a red-zone interception, and it halts the Jaguars' best drive since the first quarter.
