BREAKING It will be closed 'for some time'
Emergency services are on the scene following a huge vehicle fire onThe motorway has been closed following the incident on the eastbound carriageway. The exit slip road at junction 10 is currently shut.
According to Lancashire Constabulary, it is expected the road closure will remain in place for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and make alternative travel arrangements where possible.A police spokesperson said: "Please be advised due to a vehicle fire there is currently a closure at the exit slip road at Eastbound Junction 10 M65. The motorway remains open but the exit slip road is closed and will be for some time.
The club posted on Twitter: "The off-slip of Junction 10 on the M65 Eastbound is closed and will be for some time. Please use Junctions 9 and 12 for the best route to Turf Moor."Police have confirmed the exit sliproad at junction 10 on the M65 is closed because of a vehicle fire. The force said on Twitter: "Please be advised due to a vehicle fire there is currently a closure at the exit slip road at Eastbound Junction 10and will be for some time. Thank you for your patience."
