Snow has started to fall in Leeds this afternoon after the Met Office issued a 19-hour disruption warning.has warned that the freezing spell will bring wintry conditions to many parts of the county tomorrow morning. Yellow weather warnings are in place for snow and ice until 7am tomorrow.
For Leeds today the Met Office says: "A very cold and frosty start with some clear skies through the morning. Becoming cloudier from midday with scattered snow showers, mostly along exposed windward coasts, but some pushing inland at times. Light winds. Maximum temperature 5 °C."Light flurries have started to fall in the city centre and the outskirts of Leeds including the Oakwood area.
Snow has settled in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire as it continues to fall in light flurries across Leeds.
