Weslaco has already eliminated O’Connor’s district rivals Holmes and Harlan, and is seeking first state tournament berth since 2016.Blanco vs Bishop have a rematch of their 2019 championship series, a sweep for Blanco in which Game 1 featured a 15 hour, 8 minutes seventh inning stretch.
Blanco’s Dylan LaRue and Zach Wisdom, along with Tye Odom of Bishop, all participated as freshmen in the 2019 series.Reagan 7 straight, 14 of 15 vs Eagle Pass A rematch of the classic 2014 Region IV Championship Game, a classic where Reagan, trailing 1-0 in the bottom of 7th, won 2-1 on a walkoff single by Cade Bormet. Eagle Pass is in the 4th round for the fourth time in 10 years. Reagan is in the 4th round for the 6th time in 9 years, including 3 trips to the state tournament.
