. Unite and Unison’s ambulance workers - including paramedics, call-handlers, technicians and other staff - are on strike as the bitter row with the government remains deadlocked.

The industrial action by ambulance staff follows nursing strikes last week that saw thousands walk out around the country.
North West Ambulance Service staff also took part in strikes earlier this month on January 11. But the pay and staffing dispute goes on - in the North West, further walkouts are set to take place on February 6, February 22, March 6 and March 20.
