The machines will initially be trialled at two stores: one in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, and one in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Using the plastic refill pouches is 20p cheaper compared to buying the usual single-use detergent equivalent, Lidl said. A bottle of Formil detergent costs up to £1.89, which means you could be paying £1.69 instead using the refill machines.
